strong women

one thing that struck me is the important role women play in keeping everything running here.
the ophthalmic nurses are all women. we get talking and i tell them about my family, my three children.
suddenly, they laugh out loud. i look at them questioningly and they tell me: one of them said to the others, that she would happily have a child with me. i’m not used to being flirted with, but that makes me smile.
